Stem Cell Therapy

Unlock healing with the power of regenerative medicine

What is Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem cells are essential for the growth and maintenance of our organs, bones, and systems, and modern medical technology has made human stem cell injections possible for orthopedic care. Stem cell injections are primarily used in large joints and help regrow connective tissue, but they also have a powerful anti-inflammatory effect and are highly effective as preventative care.

The Alexander Center utilizes stem cell injections to help patients regenerate joint cells, decrease discomfort, and in some cases avoid major surgery.

The Treatment Difference

For patients with knee, hip, or shoulder osteoarthritis, treatment options are often limited to steroid injections, joint replacement surgery, or physical therapy. At our practice, we offer the additional solution of stem cell injections to successfully treat patients with conditions like osteoarthritis, Achilles tendonitis, rotator cuff tendonitis, and degenerative arthritis. These injections reduce inflammation, regrow connective tissue, and aid in preventing further injury.

Ensuring our patients get the highest quality products is a priority. Most stem cells have preservatives that allow them to be stored on a shelf at room temp – here, we don’t do preservatives. Our stem cells are carefully sourced and stored in a specialty freezer so they can be free from any artificial additives.

Are Stem Cell Injections Safe?

Yes! The use of stem cells is safe, effective, and has been researched for decades. Studies show that patients who have undergone stem cell injections present with virtually no adverse side effects beyond minor, temporary inflammation. At our practice we are committed to thoughtful, thorough, and researched practices which is why we only use materials from donors who have completed a rigorous screening process, are without preservatives, and are well-preserved in our state of the art medical freezer on site.

How Does it Work?

Stem cell treatment takes advantage of the body’s innate ability to repair itself. Once you’ve been approved as a candidate for stem cell therapy, you’ll receive the treatment right here in our office from our experienced nurse practitioner. You’ll be able to leave and go about your daily business, with just 2-3 weeks of lighter activity before returning to business as usual.

Am I a Good Candidate for Stem Cell Therapy?

Patients suffering from or looking to prevent further joint, tendon, or ligament pain may be candidates for stem cell therapy. We consider this treatment option only after a detailed examination process.
